Computer/Electrical Engineer III

WR SystemsVirginia Beach, VA

About The Position

Out at sea, there’s no margin for failure. Naval systems must operate reliably in extreme conditions, constant vibration, high heat, saltwater corrosion, and continuous operational demand. The hardware that supports these missions must be engineered not just to function, but to endure. At WR, we design and deliver the mechanical and electrical systems that protect, support, and enable critical naval technologies. From concept through deployment, our work ensures that mission-critical equipment performs exactly as expected, when it matters most.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Six (6)+ years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering, with two (2)+ of the years being fulltime experience at the system level in any of the following areas: requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, productivity studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, post-delivery support.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering
  • Experience with RF, Networks and Signal Processing

Responsibilities

  • Independently design electronic circuits, components and integrated systems, utilizing ferroelectric, nonlinear, dielectric, phosphorescent, photo-conductive, and thermoelectric properties of materials
