Full Sail University is seeking a Computer Animation Career Development Advisor to join their team. This role involves advising students and graduates on career preparation within the art, entertainment, or media industries. Working knowledge of the animation, gaming, film, simulations industry and corresponding companies.
Working knowledge of computers and Internet researching.
Knowledge of the Animation and 3D Arts industry is required.
Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, DropBox, Zoom.
Mac OS proficiency preferred.

Nice To Haves

Social Media and Discord knowledge is a plus.
Some human resource experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Advises students/graduates in policies and procedures of the Career Development Department.
Meets with students/graduates in Career Advisory Interviews.
Educates and assists candidate graduates with career search practices, including portfolio reviews, presentation skills, conducting research, resume review, cover letter writing, developing telephone and interviewing skills, social media presence, industry etiquette and responsibilities.
Coordinates graduate portfolios and resumes to appropriate employer leads.
Documents all conversations (personal, phone, email, text, social media).
Provides accurate statistical information for the yearly accreditation.
Organizes and develops resources for industry research.
Develops outreach practices to assist graduate networking.
May attend industry-related events and presentations.
Performs duties and assignments as assigned by Team Lead and Associate Director.
