Requirements
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
- Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
Responsibilities
- Works on complex CAE problems to enable innovative product development
- Engaged in designing architecture of new products and using CAE to develop new product solutions
- Proactively validates/correlates results with real world data with significant contribution to subsequent model improvement
- Perform data analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE); use the insights from modelling to provide design and process changes
- Presents CAE results in design reviews, group meetings and provides mentoring of less experienced engineers
- Considered a business unit physics expert in relevant hardware design or process applications
- Interfaces with internal and external customers on troubleshooting product issues
- Interfaces with key suppliers to develop new technology or engaged in new CAE technology development internally
