About The Position

Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan team in our Diagnostic Imaging department! This role involves performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures. There are three levels: CT Tech 1 (entry-level, under supervision, working towards CT certification), CT Tech 2 (journey-level, performs complex procedures independently), and CT Tech 3 (advanced-level, technical expert, requires additional modality certification). All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.

Requirements

• CT Tech 1: Six (6) Months as a Radiology (XR) Technologist.
• CT Tech 1: Current ARRT (XR) certification.
• CT Tech 1: Eligible for ARRT (CT) certification within 24 months.
• CT Tech 2: One (1) year as a CT Technologist.
• CT Tech 2: Current ARRT (CT) certification.
• CT Tech 3: Three (3) years as a CT Technologist.
• CT Tech 3: Current ARRT (CT) certification.
• CT Tech 3: Must hold certification in at least one additional, distinct modality beyond those required to perform the CT Technologist role (e.g. X-Ray, Mammo, etc).
• Alaska Fluoroscopy Users certification within one month of hire (for all levels).
• Produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT imaging procedures under direct supervision (CT Tech 1).
• Develops proficiency in CT imaging techniques, protocols, and patient care (CT Tech 1).
• Performs a wide range of complex CT imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision (CT Tech 2).
• Demonstrates proficiency in general and specialized CT examinations, trauma protocols, and contrast-enhanced studies (CT Tech 2).
• Acts as a technical expert and cross-departmental resource (CT Tech 3).
• Holds certification in at least one additional, distinct modality beyond those required to perform the CT Technologist role (CT Tech 3).
