About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT)- Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Detroit, MI. In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, the technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 2+ years of CT experience
Philips experience is required
ARRT (CT) Certification is required
Experienced with Venipuncture and Contrast is required
Must have BLS certification
Must have a valid Michigan State License.
Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within one month of hire date.
Ability to work as a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficient team.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

3D imaging experience - Highly preferred

Responsibilities

Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients
Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
Examining images to ensure they’re usable
Updating patient medical information
Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
