About The Position

Opportunity: Part-time opportunity with a growing medical practice with locations across the CSRA and Statesboro. For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA. With 5 offices, 16 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best.

Requirements

• Current Radiologic Technologist RT(R) license and a South Carolina Certification from SCRQSA.
• Working knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality standards.
• Ability to independently perform CT examinations in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, manufacturer guidelines, applicable laws, and organizational policies.
• Ability to safely assist with transferring, repositioning, and supporting patients of varying sizes and mobility levels including use of wheelchairs.
• Requires adequate visual acuity to assess patients, review orders and electronic images, and operate CT equipment and computer systems.
• Ability to hear patient concerns, alarms, verbal instructions, and respond promptly in routine and emergency situations.

• Outpatient or office-based CT experience.
• EMR proficient.
• Knowledge of radiology safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and provides staff physicians with diagnostic images for review.
• Loads, dispenses, disinfects, and uploads all Watch-Pat devices.
