About The Position

Wispr Flow is seeking a computational linguist to lead the definition of customization and personalization for its voice dictation outputs and style. This role involves collaborating with ML scientists to identify user preferences across various styles, from casual English to genZ messaging and academic writing. The lead will also coordinate external experts for data annotation and analyze data to understand stylistic variations.

Requirements

• Linguistics PhD
• Ability to mentor, manage, and give feedback to expert labelers
• Self-awareness about stylistic choices and why different people prefer different things
• Multilingual speaker
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and build familiarity with LLM development
