The Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center invite applications for open-rank faculty positions in Computational Immunology with strong leadership potential and a commitment to translating cutting-edge cancer research into clinical impact. Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC) have built a world-class research hub - including a very strong artificial intelligence (AI) program focused on virtual cell and organ modeling, digital twins, and AI-based discovery, and, a very strong on premises and cloud-based computational sciences program - dedicated to transforming cancer patient care through target discovery, innovative therapeutic strategies and next-generation immunotherapies. MCCCC has a very strong track record of translation of discoveries to human interventions and clinical trials. We seek outstanding investigators who will provide scientific leadership in the development and application of computational approaches and modeling to understand the complex interaction between tumors, the immune system, tumor spatial ecotypes and microenvironments, and targeted therapeutic interventions. The successful candidates will lead efforts to integrate and interpret multimodal datasets, including single cell and spatial multi-omics, immune repertoire profiling, functional genomics screens, imaging, proteomics, clinical and longitudinal patient data. The overarching goal is to identify and generate actionable insights that accelerate the development of effective cancer immunotherapies. Successful applicants will house their program at one of the three Mayo Clinic Destination Medical Center Sites in Rochester, Minnesota; Jacksonville, Florida; or Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ, but have the opportunity to work across the Mayo Clinic enterprise.
