We are Lockheed Martin At the Skunk Works, our Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) Codes & Tools team is expanding and playing a pivotal role in our Digital Transformation development roadmap. We are seeking a mid-career CEM software developer to join our team. This role is critical in driving our Digital Transformation (DX) efforts forward through enabling and integrating state-of-the-art CEM and DX tools. This expertise will enable us to design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge systems and technologies, giving us a competitive edge in the industry. YOUR IMPACT As a Senior CEM Developer with our Skunks, you will find yourself helping engineer high-quality state-of-the-art electromagnetic solvers and contributing to all phases of the development process, including the design, test, release, deployment, user support, and maintenance of CEM codes and tools. You will also be uniquely positioned to build relationships and cross collaborate with other junior and senior software developers, CEM codes and tools users, Information Technology (IT) and computer administrators (Admins), and management and leadership personnel through collaborative Digital Transformation efforts. The software developer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Research and evaluate current, evolving, and new CEM algorithms Design and implement parallel and scalable software programs that take advantage of High Performance Computing (HPC) environments Establish software test requirements, write test documentation, and identify root causes of software failures and associated corrective actions Perform new CEM code testing, verification, validation, and optimization Perform numerical and physical benchmarking of new code components and algorithms Deploy CEM codes to isolated local and program environments [including workstations and HPCs] and ensure codes run properly and efficiently AS A SKUNK The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges.
