About The Position

Boeing Phantom Works is seeking an Experienced Computational Electromagnetics Engineer/Scientist to join the Codes & Measurements team. This role focuses on developing software tools to design, analyze, and sustain low observable (LO) platforms by modeling electromagnetic scattering of targets in the RF/IR spectrum. The work encompasses geometry preparation, material modeling, signature analysis, antenna modeling, radome characterization, data reduction, and visualization. The position requires collaboration with a diverse team of domain experts and engineers from multiple disciplines.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's or 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters or PhD
Ability to obtain a US Top Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Active Top Secret Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Responsibilities

Research and develop new methodologies for analyzing platform signature
Design scalable algorithms for High Performance Computing (HPC) environments
Code of algorithms in a high-level programing language (C,C++,Fortran, etc.)
Expand features and capabilities of existing CEM tools
Optimize user workflows within the tool suite
Develop and execute software verification, validation, and benchmarking test plans
Identify and resolve software issues
Document software and develop training tools for users
