About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Net+/Sec+ Training Specialist. The Net+/Sec+ Training Specialist will design, develop, and deliver in-person training and assist with curriculum development for adult learners. Develop courseware, deliver training, set up and maintain a training environment, and use student satisfaction surveys for course evaluation. Write various training manuals (instructor and participant guides). Design and produce training tools, such as printable job aids, practical exercises, assessments and quick reference guides. Deliver instructor-led training to adult learners. Serve as the primary customer representative for development and delivery of customized training solutions and documentation. Facilitate course change management for an audience. Evaluate and adapt to various learning styles within an audience. Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying priorities. Work with a cross-functional team (subject matter experts and management). Support customer Council on Occupational Education (COE) accreditation requirements. Produce professional deliverables using Microsoft Office suite.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years of experience with HS Diploma
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain Presidential Support Duty (PSD) designation
  • Show training and experience as CompTIA Security+/Network+ instructor
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with standard instructional systems development models, such as ADDIE
  • Familiarity with learning content and delivery solutions, such as Blackboard and Webex
  • Certification in CompTIA Security+ and Network+
