The Saint-Félicien Kraft Pulp Mill specializes in the production of northern softwood kraft pulp and has an annual production capacity of 355,000 metric tons. In 2018, the mill achieved one (1) million hours without a lost-time injury, and in 2021, 584,000 hours without a lost-time injury. Safety is one of our greatest values. Investments of over $60 million in 2018 were made to modernize the mill. We encourage both individual effort and teamwork, mutual assistance, as well as health and safety at work.

Our facility is looking for qualified individuals to fill a Principal Accountant position. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Requirements

• Leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA designation, an asset.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
• DEC in accounting with relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support management decision-making.
• Participate in the monthly financial statement preparation process.
• Analyze production costs, challenge results, and issue recommendations.
• Maintain effective internal controls.
• Establish financial forecasts and budgets.
• Perform various profitability analyses related to operations and investments.
