About The Position

medi USA is growing, and we need you to join the team in  Philadelphia, PA medi is a market leader in medical devices and is looking for folks ready to operate in a professional environment to service medi’s USA’s expanding business needs.  The Compression Specialist will assist our Territory Business Managers and Clinical Educators in providing comprehensive care including measuring, fitting, and educating patients and clinicians on compression solutions.  This position will establish new opportunities by building referrals within the hospital setting, develop and manage relationship with clinicians to differentiate product offering and drive orders. The position will also work in conjunction with medi’s local and national DME providers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years experience in face-to-face patient/customer service 
  • Demonstrated capability in education of customer and sales personnel
  • Ability to work with a variety of personality types
  • Familiarity with computers and  Microsoft Office
  • Adaptability to new processes and technology
  • Ability to read and interpret medical terminology and basic anatomy
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of compression and experience with measuring is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, measure and fit patients for ready to wear & custom compression garments.
  • Utilize medi vision as well as traditional type measuring 
  • Provide demo and patient set up for medi’s compression pump offering
  • Educate patients and clinicians on the use and maintenance of medi’s compression solutions.
  • Act as a liaison and communicate effectively with clinicians, patients and DME provider
  • Communicate with clinicians to retrieve missing or required documentation for compression garments or pumps
  • Travel throughout established region balancing time in-clinics with clinicians and patients to support market growth.
  • Produce a monthly report on clinic activity related to specific account list.
  • Maintain and coordinate a fitting schedule at key clinics to manage patient visits.
