Compression Engineering Intern
About The Position
Boardwalk Pipelines’ Compression Engineering department is seeking a summer engineering intern for its Owensboro office. During the summer, the intern will learn advanced engineering concepts and apply them across compression facilities. The role supports project tracking, provides technical support for compressors and their drivers—including engines, motors, and turbines—and assists compression operations. The intern will also validate asset downtime with field operations, assist with continuous-improvement suggestions initiated by field operations, and work with internal stakeholders across Boardwalk’s support teams.
Requirements
- Currently majoring in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel.
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
