About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing customized medications, ensuring accuracy in calculations, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in pharmacy information systems
- Proficiency in computer operations
- Precise mathematical calculations
- Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Effective computer and keyboarding skills
- Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems
- Ability to commute to Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234
- High school or equivalent education
- Willingness to achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification via NHA, PTCB, or Curexa In-House program
- Willingness to achieve State Registration
Nice To Haves
- Medication & Compounding Expertise: Knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques.
- Current pharmacy technician registration/certification
- Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and systems
