About The Position

A Compounder prepares and accurately documents raw materials for manufacturing requirements. This role involves mixing different raw materials together using various equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to safety regulations. The position also includes rotations with Jar Washing responsibilities.

Requirements

• The ability to carry out oral and written instructions along with the ability to adapt to different situations
• Physical condition demands being able to lift, push, pull, standing for sustained periods, etc., as outlined in number seven (7), eight (8) and nine (9) above.
• Must have basic mathematical skills and be able to read and write legibly
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
• Any unscheduled absence or tardy will have a negative impact on our ability to meet our production objectives.
• Physical aspects of the job are defined on the Physical Demands Analysis located in HR

Responsibilities

• Compounds (blends, mixes) raw materials and distributes to extrusion equipment areas.
• Mixing different raw materials together using scales, volumetric cylinders, tumblers, and other mixing equipment.
• Legibly writing on containers and record keeping.
• Shaking, rolling, and mixing containers as required.
• Keep a clean, neat workplace.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations - Naphtha in area.
• Includes rotations with Jar Washing responsibilities
