Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow batch tickets, formulas, written instructions, and safety documentation.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to accurately measure, calculate, and verify quantities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and complete JD Edwards transactions through on-the-job training.
  • Ability to maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Demonstrated record of dependable attendance and satisfactory job performance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing, chemical blending, mixing, or compounding experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing safety, GMPs, SOPs, and quality-control practices preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review batch tickets, formulas, and production instructions before beginning each batch.
  • Gather, weigh, measure, and prepare raw materials according to pre-batch tickets and approved procedures.
  • Operate mixers and other compounding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor the compounding process to ensure the correct quantities, specifications, and quality standards are met.
  • Fill and transfer finished products from mixers into designated containers or equipment.
  • Accurately complete batch records, production documents, and required system transactions.
  • Record and reconcile raw material and finished-product usage in JD Edwards to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Label, organize, and properly store raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished goods.
  • Follow all safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality-control requirements.
  • Perform required equipment checks and report quality concerns, equipment issues, material discrepancies, or safety hazards promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Work effectively with Prebatching, Filling, Quality, Warehouse, and other production team members to meet production schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
