About The Position

The Compounder Operator will set up and compound formulations with approved raw material products in a safe and efficient manner according to specifications and procedures. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in laboratory or manufacturing/production
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Organizational skills to include multi-tasking, planning, and time management
  • Ability to adjust to ever-changing priorities
  • Speed, accuracy and timely completion
  • Results driven
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Physical lifting

Responsibilities

  • Effectively operates and understands all required compounding equipment that includes blenders and scales
  • Compounds material with accurate weights and measurements
  • Performs set ups and move inventory
  • Barcodes material and manages inventory control
  • Follows and clarifies formulation specifications
  • Safety operates powered industrial vehicles and moves product to appropriate areas
  • Performs routine maintenance of equipment
  • Determines causes of errors by troubleshooting
  • Records data (product formulations, labor hours)
  • Operates Form Weigh functions
  • Analyzes data and performs mathematical calculations
  • Works diligently to cross-train on various operations to enhance skills to align with ISO/IATF certification standards as well as company goals and objectives
  • Provides training and/or evaluations of new and existing operators, as assigned, according to the Work Force Development (WFD) program on operations, which have been mastered according to WFD proficiency levels
  • Effectively manage time and meet deadlines
  • Effectively communicates product status
  • Improves job knowledge by attending training and keeping relevant knowledge and skills current
  • Demonstrates organizational skills by working independently and with a team
