About The Position

This role is for an experienced manufacturing professional with prior compounding, batching, or chemical blending experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of batching processes, raw material handling, equipment operation, and GMP standards. They should be detail-oriented, safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable troubleshooting production issues while supporting both the production team and less experienced employees.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of prior compounding experience in manufacturing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with chemical blending, batching, mixing, or formulation processes
  • Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, and formulation principles
  • Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and batch documentation
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and computer-based documentation
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience is a plus (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare, mix, and blend product batches following SOPs and batch instructions
  • Accurately weigh and measure raw materials
  • Operate kettles, mixers, homogenizers, transfer pumps, and related compounding equipment
  • Troubleshoot minor batching, mixing, or equipment issues
  • Complete batch records, production logs, and ERP/MRP system entries accurately
  • Support pre-weighing and material verification activities
  • Transfer completed batches to filling lines according to company procedures
  • Collect and deliver product samples for quality testing
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, utensils, and compounding equipment
  • Assist production teams as needed to maintain workflow and schedules
  • Support and provide guidance to less experienced compounders
  • Follow all GMP, safety, PPE, and sanitation requirements
