About The Position

Claystone Waste Ltd. is seeking an Organics Technical Lead to support their compost operations. This role involves coordinating daily workflows, managing operational data, and connecting field teams with management. The position is key to ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant operations within the company, which is a western Canadian leader in waste management. Requirements

  • Diploma in environmental, natural sciences, engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (organics, agriculture, waste, or industrial ops)
  • Strong Excel and data tracking skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Compost Operator License (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)

Responsibilities

  • Translate operational priorities into daily work plans
  • Track progress and adjust workflows based on conditions
  • Collect and manage operational data and reporting
  • Perform compost testing and support quality assurance
  • Maintain schedules, documentation, and inventory tracking
  • Coordinate with operations staff, maintenance, and suppliers
