As a 2nd Shift Composite Technician, you’ll be working hands-on with fiberglass, resins, and core materials to build the very foundation of our boats. Requirements
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn composite techniques
- Comfort working in a physically demanding environment (heat, fumes, PPE required)
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, consistent work
Nice To Haves
- Experience with composites, lamination, or bodywork is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Prepare molds and apply fiberglass, and resin using hand layup or vacuum infusion techniques
- Accurately measure, cut, and place fiberglass cloth and core materials
- Use rollers, brushes, and tools to ensure even resin distribution and air removal
- Monitor curing times and perform post-cure trimming or grinding
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepped work area
- Communicate material needs or issues with your team or supervisor
