About The Position

Our Advanced Composite Manufacturing facility is searching for a talented composite technician to support the manufacturing of composite antennas to go on some of the most advanced platforms. This position performs a variety of fabrication and processing operations in order to build and finish composite and plastic reinforced parts. Applies knowledge of working characteristics of bonding techniques, using precision instruments, hand tools, machines, and equipment. Performs composite layup and mechanical assembly operations to military specification by utilizing process sheets, drawings and written or verbal instructions. Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • At least 2 years work experience in composite layup
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Extensive hands-on experience with composite layup, vacuum bagging, and lamination techniques
  • Highly knowledgeable in proper handling and storage of adhesives, prepregs, and composite materials
  • Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to obtain DOD secret Clearance

  • Degree in Composite Technology a plus
