About The Position

The Composite Operator works with advanced composite materials and support multiple production processes to ensure high-quality products meet customer specifications. Composite Operators are cross-trained across several production areas, giving you the opportunity to build valuable manufacturing skills while supporting production needs across the facility.

Requirements

• Experience in composites manufacturing or similar production environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds and materials for composite production processes
• Trim, laminate, assemble, and finish composite parts
• Read route cards and follow production specifications
• Use gauges, fixtures, and measurement tools to ensure product quality
• Inspect parts throughout the production process and identify defects
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in production
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Available for overtime as needed
