About The Position

This position is responsible for the cutting and grinding of fiberglass parts to specifications by using a variety of hand tools to ensure quality parts are sent to customers. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to stand for prolonged periods, reach and bend consistently, and lift up to 35 lbs regularly. The ideal candidate can work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment, possesses effective communication skills, and can organize and prioritize workload. Initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work harmoniously with others while maintaining a positive and professional attitude are essential. A satisfactory work record, including performance, attendance, and teamwork, is expected. The ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with issues logically and within company guidelines is also important. Overtime hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trace the template onto the fiberglass part using a hand scribe
• Utilize routers and grinders to cut fiberglass parts according to template
• Utilize drills to make holes in fiberglass parts according to specifications
• Must be able to promote teamwork and work well with peers and supervisors
• Supports company initiatives with enthusiasm and a positive, results focused attitude
• Maintain and promote a safe working environment
• Continual communication with Management and other department leaders
• Perform other related duties as required.
