About The Position

As a Composite Assembler at Bath Fitter, you will manufacture, repair, and assemble molds. In addition, you will design new molds and develop complex models. Bath Fitter has been perfecting its process for over 40 years to meet customer needs and deliver the best bathtubs for everyone. Requirements

  • Experience as a molder, laminator, in composite material repair, or working with fiberglass.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent learning ability.
  • Strong teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of experience in the field and a DEP or DEC in Composite Materials, or five (5) years of experience in a similar role, considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Modify and design new molds and complex models
  • Prepare and interpret sketches and technical drawings
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to mold manufacturing
  • Develop new work methods and processes to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing time
  • Build fiberglass molds using existing drawings and sketches for the Baths and Accessories departments
  • Perform mold repairs
  • Laminate bathtub and shower bases
  • Participate in the manufacturing of display units
  • Produce molds and parts through casting processes
