Requirements

Communication – both verbal and written English language.
Must be able to write descriptive statements concerning the condition of the assemblies being worked on.
Ability to work as a team member.
Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ability to use hand tools and demonstrate mechanical experience.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for 8-10 hours.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 2 years' experience in related field with strong mechanical and/or electrical background is preferred.
Aviation experience is considered an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform disassembly and cleaning of aircraft components according to customer specifications, airworthiness directives, applicable manufacturers' CMM guidelines and operating procedures.
Maintain current knowledge of and comply with customer and Transport Canada regulations as applicable to the work assigned.
Ensure familiarity with all shop equipment operations and their maintenance, and able to understand component maintenance manuals and all other applicable technical documents.
