Position Overview Reporting to the Component Shop Manager, the Component Shop Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of helicopter components that support operations around the world. As a valued member of our Component Shop team, they will inspect, repair, overhaul, assemble, and test a wide variety of aircraft components in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Through precision workmanship, technical expertise, and attention to detail, they help maintain the high standards of quality and safety that have earned Alpine Aerotech its global reputation. Requirements

  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent component overhaul, manufacturing, or mechanical repair experience.
  • Previous aviation maintenance or component overhaul experience required.
  • Experience with Bell 206, 407, 212, and 412 helicopter components is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Experience working with precision measurement tools, inspection equipment, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate records and complete technical documentation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and commitment to safety.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a desire to learn and develop technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, and testing of aircraft components in accordance with company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and reassemble aircraft components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Accurately complete all required maintenance records, inspection reports, and component documentation.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and test apparatus remain serviceable, calibrated, and safe for use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment that supports operational excellence and workplace safety.
  • Follow all safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
  • Collaborate with team members, inspectors, and leadership to support production goals, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer expectations.
  • Uphold the quality, safety, and professionalism that defines the Alpine Aerotech brand.
