Earth City Component Processing Tech 1st Shift
About The Position
Our Component Processing Technicians are responsible for blood product manufacturing to include handling of blood products, quarantine and/or discarding products, working with biohazardous/chemical waste. This position will also prepare and label components and assist with count/maintenance of inventories. No experience? No problem! We provide an extensive on-the-job paid-training program. This is a Full Time status position working 9:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday and every other Saturday and on-call rotation. This is not an ordinary heath care job. We are headquartered in Davenport, Iowa and have distribution hubs and donor centers in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Every year we team up with thousands of blood donors and hundreds of community partners to help save lives through blood drives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalencies
- Ability to read and follow set Standard Operating Procedures
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production or manufacturing setting is preferred
