As a Component Engineer specializing in Electro-Mechanical Devices, you will be responsible for varius parts such as Fuses, Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Shunts, Relays, Switches, Cable and Wire Harness, Connectors, and all Metal Parts (Hardware, Bus Bars, Shunts, Cabinets, Diecasting) supporting design of power supply products for datacenter, industrial and telecommunication applications. You will also be responsible for driving technology in emerging technology in support of 800Vdc battery backup systems. Responsibilities include: Solid State Circuit Breakers, e-Fuses, Battery Technology and Liquid Cooling fluids and systems. You will own the components from concept, test, qualification and release to mass production through to end of component life. The projects will include New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), Direct Material Productivity (DMP), resolving customer issues, and sustaining existing products. Reporting to the R&D Technical Manager, this position will be expected to demonstrate leadership globally. This role is located at our Plano, TX HQ.
