About The Position

This is a US-based, unpaid internship opportunity with the American Public Health Association (APHA) Membership and Component Affairs Department for the Spring 2027 term. It is designed for individuals looking to develop and apply business/marketing strategies to real-world situations and gain valuable resume-building experience in communication, marketing, and office administration. The internship is located in Washington, D.C., with hybrid or remote options available. Interns will work closely with and be mentored by the Deputy Director of Membership Services and are expected to contribute to the Association’s Get Ready campaign.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US during the internship.

  • List of two references (from two individuals who know you well enough to discuss your qualifications, e.g., an employer or professor).
  • Must adhere to APHA COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate Policy.
