As a key member of the guest experience team, the Complimentary Breakfast Attendant delivers exceptional service during the hotel’s morning dining period. This role is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and replenishing the complimentary breakfast area in accordance with health regulations. The attendant ensures a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked environment, proactively engaging with guests to enhance satisfaction and resolve any service needs. Collaboration with the culinary and housekeeping teams is essential to uphold a seamless and elevated guest experience. A strong focus on hospitality, attention to detail, and time management is critical in this fast-paced, guest-facing role.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance the breakfast experience.
  • Set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast area in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor food and beverage levels, restocking items promptly to ensure consistent availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
  • Ensure all food items are properly labeled and presented in an appealing and sanitary manner.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and housekeeping teams to coordinate service needs and resolve guest concerns.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
  • Track inventory and notify management of supply needs or equipment issues.
  • Assist with light food preparation tasks such as brewing coffee, toasting bread, or heating pre-prepared items.
  • Uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
