About The Position

The Compliance-Technology Solutions Intern will support computer systems and technology-related applications used within Stifel’s Compliance department. The role provides the opportunity to collaborate with team members and gain exposure to a range of technology tools and applications. The intern will develop a basic understanding of SQL and relational databases, assist with computer systems support, contribute to business intelligence (BI) reporting and related data analysis, and gain hands-on experience with Copilot, ChatGPT, and other technology-related applications.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or another technology-related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SQL.
• Strong interest in technology and a desire to gain practical experience in the field.
• Interest in data analysis, data analytics, and BI reporting.
• Interest in learning SQL and working with relational databases.
• Interest in learning and working with technology-related tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basic functions and responsibilities of the Compliance Technology Solutions team.
• Develop basic SQL coding skills and gain familiarity with relational databases and other technology-related applications.
• Assist team members with supporting computer systems.
• Support BI reporting and related data analysis.
• Gain hands-on experience with Copilot, ChatGPT, and other technology-related applications.
