About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining compliance standards at the assigned facility as well as helping with various other house-hand responsibilities when necessary while following all company rules and related regulations. This position will require working some weekends.
Requirements
- Must read and write legibly in English
- Must demonstrate attention to details
- Must demonstrate good work ethic
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all company humane animal care policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and legible paperwork
- Take blood and serum samples from live birds in accordance with the regulations and company procedures
- Accurately weighing live birds and complete associated reports
- Service various forms of pest related bait stations and pest traps
- Service, monitor, and maintain fly traps
- Accurately swab litter belts in accordance with regulations and company procedures
- Maintain all disinfectant foot pans in accordance with regulations and company procedures
- Remove dead birds
- Help with other farm responsibilities
- Help with cleaning the facility as needed
- Help with house duties as assigned
