A Compliance Technician performs a variety of professional administrative tasks in support of the compliance function. Primary Responsibilities other duties may be assigned as necessary: Monitors regulatory developments of assigned states and documents for weekly distribution. Process Complaints/inquiries in a timely fashion in accordance to set procedures. Assist with TPA License preparation documents for annual reporting and license renewals. Respond to regulatory exam requests and market conduct exams as required. Produce documents for dispute resolution and litigation support on a timely basis. Create electronic records of filings, reports, complaints, and audits on behalf of multiple clients in the appropriate directories for record retention purposes. Prepare and submit regulatory reporting requirements via SERFF and paper as required by line of business. Research potential OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets) hits from Bridger XG software and assign alerts to the appropriate operations areas in accordance to set procedures. Create word documents, draft letters, and memos. Update excel spreadsheets. Call and e-mail State Insurance Departments to obtain answers as needed. Assist IAS client compliance departments with year-end data requests and policy data for reporting purposes. Prepare and facilitate rate increase filings for clients. Collect research on insurance related subjects of assigned states and release the weekly TRAX report on a rotating basis.
