About The Position

Nwestco has been working in petroleum equipment and fuel systems for over 25 years across the Northwest and Rockies. We are growing and looking for dependable Compliance Helpers and Compliance Technicians to join our Fresno team. If you have experience with fuel systems, enjoy working in the field, and want steady work with a company that cares for its employees, we want to hear from you. This role involves testing and inspecting fuel systems at gas stations and commercial sites, working on various components like USTs, ASTs, piping, sensors, leak detectors, and tank monitors. You will perform annual and required compliance testing, check leak detection, vapor recovery, spill buckets, and overfill systems, and complete necessary reports. A key part of the role is identifying problems and collaborating with service technicians to resolve them, while also maintaining testing equipment and adhering to all safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience around petroleum equipment, fuel systems, or compliance testing is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in the field
  • Comfortable working independently and staying organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong focus on safety
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
