Nice To Haves

  • Maintain personnel files with accuracy and integrity by auditing and verifying credentials, certifications, state licensures, and other professional credentials, as well as maintaining ongoing checks to ensure that all credentials remain current.
  • Conduct various background checks from a wide variety of sources as needed to verify the credentials and suitability of healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with People Services and the Clinical Team to assist with the status of licenses, employment qualifications, background checks, and other required credentials.
  • Track metrics for the Compliance Department using Excel, updating information in a timely fashion and responding to inquiries with speed and professionalism.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports to identify any missing data or credentials, any credentials/certifications that are lapsing, and the status of healthcare professionals’ credential files.
  • Conduct Joint Commission Performance Measure compliance audits every month.
  • Assist with facilitation of external audits, track results, communicate and clarify audit findings with the branch and credentialing personnel, and participate in the review process.
  • Participation in the Joint Commission (TJC) certification audit preparation process.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local government laws, accrediting agency standards, and client-specific contractual requirements, including Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
  • Provide support in completing extensive research and analysis of state and federal regulations, healthcare industry standards, and other client-specific requirements within client and third-party contracts and proposals.
  • Participate in the development of credentialing processes and workflows affecting healthcare professionals’ credentials and any processes affecting the electronic personnel file (profile).
  • Identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements and workable solutions.
  • Provide telephonic or webinar education training to recruiters, department divisions, and corporate personnel on credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with facilitation, oversight, and customer service to various internal departments of Favorite’s vendor with healthcare professional competency assessments, including technical assistance, compliance standards, and other concerns as they arise.
  • Work proactively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • May be required to assist with credentialing responsibilities throughout Favorite Healthcare Staffing’s different divisions.
  • All other duties as assigned.
