About The Position

The Department of Equal Opportunity/Regulatory Compliance is seeking a Compliance Specialist to serve as the primary contact for a specific compliance program. This role involves creating and classifying reports, issuing communications, maintaining manuals and public information, supporting training initiatives, and handling administrative tasks to ensure adherence to institutional rules and external laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary contact for a specific compliance program.
  • Creates and classifies reports.
  • Issues communications.
  • Assists with the creation and maintenance of manuals and public information.
  • Supports training on compliance program.
  • Completes unit administrative paperwork in support of a specific compliance program to ensure compliance with institutional rules and/or laws/regulations.
  • Assists in managing compliance with Title IX.
  • Plays a key role in ensuring compliant processes related to how EORC manages complaints and resolution processes.
  • Assists in conducting investigations as needed.
  • Executes ongoing investigations under the University's Title IX or Interpersonal Violence and Sexual Misconduct policies.
  • Prioritizes Title IX compliance work.
  • Assists in managing Title VI and Title VII investigations and training as needed.
  • Offers training to relevant campus partners and students.
  • Assists in investigations and resolution processes.
  • Ensures students receive relevant accommodations and supportive measures.
