This is a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of two days per week onsite in our Grand Rapids, MI office.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of audit and accounting experience required.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Accounting required.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience with top tier ERP required (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc)

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Public accounting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct balance sheet reviews of domestic and international entities to ensure accounting procedures are in adherence with GAAP and company policies
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes, liaising with auditors and global process partners to ensure timely completion of audit requests.
  • Support timely implementation of accounting and other control improvements as identified through audit and balance sheet review processes
  • Provide guidance on accounting policies and control performance expectations through trainings and business partnering
  • Execute special projects as may be required such as investigations and implementation of new accounting standards.
