As a Compliance Risk Manager Senior Associate within the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk organization, you will provide second line of defense support and oversight for two critical product lines in Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Payments: Global Liquidity, Account Solutions & Escrow, and Embedded Finance & Solutions. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a second line of defense function, fostering stakeholder relationships, including Business, Legal, Finance, Audit and other control functions, driving innovation, and ensuring a strong risk and control environment. Requirements

3+ years of experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, or related risk management role.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or Risk related subject
Excellent research, analytical, written, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences and support positions as needed.
Proven decision-making ability with a track record of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Self-starter who can drive and own their own deliverables while continuing to collaborate with the broader team.
Sound judgment and experienced decision‑making skills; able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Comfortable with engaging with all levels of the organization on risk and control matters.
Proven track record designing and executing analyses utilizing AI/ML tools, aggregating risks across products, and driving issue management from root cause through remediation to closure.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in banking products.
Experience with payments or financial services preferred.
Experience in supporting change, driving innovation, and managing disruption in financial services.

Responsibilities

Support compliance and operational risk management activities across CIB Payments, aligning with firmwide objectives and regulatory expectations.
Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders in the review and implementation of new products, services, vendor relationships, and client onboarding, ensuring robust risk and control frameworks.
Represent Payments CCOR in control forums, business meetings, and industry events, communicating clear and compelling risk and compliance messages.
Monitor regulatory and legislative changes, providing oversight and guidance for business implementation of new rules and regulatory requirements.
Support second line controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies, contributing to continuous improvement and process efficiency.
Review and assess new business initiatives for regulatory and operational risk implications, supporting innovative and compliant business outcomes.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal, Product, Payments, Audit, Finance, and Control Management teams, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Support regulatory exams, audits, and testing activities related to Payments, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Demonstrated capability and curiosity in using Copilot, AI, data analytics, and workflow automation tools (LLM, Tableau, Alteryx), to enhance efficiency, generate insights, and support decision-making
