About The Position

Provident Bank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Reporting & Regulatory Change Analyst to support compliance reporting, governance, and regulatory change management activities. The primary focus of this role is developing executive, management, and Board reporting, including dashboards, metrics, trend analyses, and executive summaries. The analyst will also support the Regulatory Change Manager by monitoring regulatory developments, conducting preliminary applicability and impact assessments, maintaining regulatory change inventories, coordinating stakeholder outreach, and tracking implementation activities. The successful candidate will be able to translate complex information into clear, actionable reporting for management and governance audiences.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory change management, governance, reporting, analytics, project coordination, audit, or a related financial services function.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare meaningful management and governance reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint, with experience developing reports, dashboards, metrics, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, documentation, and records management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preparing management, committee, or Board-level reporting.
  • Banking or financial services experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance, risk management, governance, regulatory change management, or banking regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and continuously enhance compliance reporting for executive management, committees, and the Board. Analyze data and trends; develop and refine key risk indicators, dashboards, metrics, and reporting methodologies; and recommend improvements that strengthen risk visibility, decision-making, and oversight.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to collect, validate, analyze, and consolidate information for compliance reporting, governance materials, regulatory updates, examinations, and other Compliance Department initiatives. Maintain accuracy, consistency, data integrity, and established reporting standards.
  • Support the Regulatory Change Management Program by monitoring regulatory developments, conducting preliminary applicability and impact assessments, documenting regulatory obligations, preparing regulatory change memoranda, and assisting with implementation planning and reporting.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, maintain implementation trackers, monitor action items, document updates, facilitate follow-up activities, and escalate potential delays or implementation issues to management as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance reporting repositories, regulatory inventories, SharePoint sites, and departmental records to ensure documentation is accurate, organized, version-controlled, and readily accessible for governance, examinations, audits, and regulatory change management.
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, and special projects by gathering documentation, conducting research, preparing materials, and assisting with responses, remediation tracking, and other departmental initiatives.
