About The Position

The Compliance Analyst 1 (deposit Return Systems) is a corporate position responsible for managing the data associated with Deposit Return Systems (DRS) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in the U.S. This role involves collecting and analyzing monthly data from recycling partners, coordinating with internal teams to monitor redemption rates and reduce fraud, and improving the recycling stream. The analyst will also maintain the deposit initiator list, update state registrations, ensure accurate incorporation of label changes in artwork, and communicate with customers regarding DRS and EPR. Additionally, the position requires conducting compliance research and developing positive working relationships across departments. Requirements

  • 0 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

  • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects experience may include a combination of work experience and education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint
  • Ability to use Oracle products including but not limited to AGILE
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data and use good judgment in making decisions or conducting risk analysis
  • Ability to problem solve using creative solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage the workload including prioritizing, follow-up, meeting deadlines

  • Associate's Degree in business or finance, or other related field

  • Regulatory Affairs, Domestic Regulatory Affairs, or Regulatory Affairs Essentials Certification/License
  • Elementary Proficiency in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze monthly data from recycling partners to identify trends and areas to investigate.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to monitor redemption rates and reduce fraud.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and recycling partners to improve the recycling stream.
  • Maintain the deposit initiator list and update the applicable recycling companies and state registrations.
  • Interact with company department(s) and customers to ensure that all label changes are accurately incorporated in final artwork.
  • Communicate with Sales and customers regarding DRS and EPR, as needed.
  • Help with and conduct other compliance research as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive rapport and working relationship within and across departments.
