As a Risk and Control Specialist within PNC's Enterprise Compliance organization, you could be based in Pittsburgh, PA Or , Philadelphia, PA Or Cleveland OH or New York, NY Or Charlotte, NC Enterprise Compliance CMS Programs team has an immediate need for a motivated, self-starter seeking broad exposure to Enterprise Compliance core framework activities. The role will provide varied responsibilities and regular exposure to senior Compliance leadership. Specific areas of need include support for: Independent Compliance Risk Assessments (ICRAs) Issues Management Data Analysis and Reporting The CMS Programs team works directly with Compliance Risk Officers to support various compliance risk framework activities, including Independent Compliance Risk Assessments (ICRAs), Issues Management, Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Data Analysis and Quarterly Risk Reporting. The Compliance Specialist role will build a strong foundation of PNC’s Operational Risk Management Framework, including extensive “hands-on” knowledge working within PNC’s eGRC tools Archer and ServiceNow. Success within this role could lead to similar roles within business risk management areas. 8+ years of industry relevant experience
Comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Communicates effective compliance programs to identify and prevent illegal, unethical, or improper business practices.
Serves as a trusted advisor to business leadership on compliance matters. Provides resolutions to manage and mitigate the identified risks.
Works collaboratively with partners in the line of business, legal, audit and other risk disciplines across the organization.
Proactively identify and raise compliance concerns as they relate to key business initiatives. Draws on industry knowledge related to current laws, rules, and other regulatory requirements and drafts or assesses Compliance Manuals, Front Office materials, policies and procedures to ensure alignment.
Communicates and socializes compliance program objectives to senior business partners. Independently challenges analyses and formulates insightful recommendations.
Reviews compliance reports to identify deeper issues and common themes. Escalates issues through proper governance channels as needed, and recommends corrective action plans. Mentors and coaches junior staff on report analysis techniques as applicable. Updates and implements new/enhanced reports in order to ensure timely and effective compliance with regulatory requirements.
