About The Position

This student program offers a unique alternative to traditional summer internships by providing students with the opportunity to work year-round throughout their academic journey. This continuous engagement allows students to apply their classroom learning in real-world settings on a daily basis, fostering deeper integration within their teams and organizations. As they progress through the program, students are empowered to take on increasing levels of responsibility, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful contributions along the way. Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the student to provide valuable contributions. Students experience a sense of personal accomplishment and learn about the corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and exclusive student networking events. The North America Compliance Planning organization works to understand regulatory requirements driving cleaner vehicles and drive efficient solutions that meet both customer and regulatory needs. This student program position in NA Compliance Planning will have the opportunity to understand and analyze vehicle programs, as well as balance fleet objectives to make strategic recommendations for our portfolio. Topics may include assessing and managing performance of greenhouse gases (GHG), Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE), tailpipe emissions (smog forming pollutants), and developing digital tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at the time of hire
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Able to work 24 hours per week, year-round
