About The Position

The Compliance & Performance Analytics Manager will be expected to develop, implement, and oversee Chief Seattle Club’s compliance programming, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures, allowable and eligible expenses, benchmarks and outcomes, and fidelity to Permanent Supportive Housing standards through the use and collection of data. This position will share responsibility for onboarding and supporting data requirements for our CSC data collection software, Apricot, including accurate, timely and compliant data reporting. This position will report to the Chief Program Officer and will work closely with program, accounting, and fundraising/grant writing leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, Information Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in grants and contract compliance, financial management, grant administration, program reporting, or data-focused program operations within a nonprofit or human services setting.
  • Experience analyzing program, compliance, or grant data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using data systems such as Apricot, HMIS, or similar case management, grants management, or reporting platforms is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools for reporting, reconciliation, analysis, and presentation of findings.
  • Ability to build, maintain, and improve data tracking tools, dashboards, reports, and data collection workflows that support decision-making and accountability.
  • Strong skills in data validation, quality assurance, routine audit review, troubleshooting data for reporting requirements, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple systems.
  • Confidence in data collection, compliance reporting, invoicing support, and translating data findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, training and coaching ability, critical thinking, problem solving, organization, flexibility, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to explain complex program, compliance, budget, and data requirements to staff, leadership, funders, and other partners with clarity and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with program evaluation, outcome measurement, and performance management practices in nonprofit or human services settings.
  • Experience supporting staff training, data literacy, reporting practices, and documentation standards across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and improve internal policies and procedures for effective contract, grant, and philanthropic funding administration.
  • Assess compliance-related risks and figure out ways to reduce them, including processes to address issues that are out of compliance.
  • Administer and support the organization’s Apricot data system, including user access, system configuration, data collection, and reporting tools.
  • Provide monthly updates to CPO regarding status of grants and contracts reporting, areas for growth, areas for concern, and maintain an organized recording system for the essential due dates for each grant/contract.
  • Coordination with program accounting lead to ensure all budgeted costs are tracked and reported to the accounting team.
  • Coordinate with the program staff to resolve data quality issues, address reporting gaps, and ensure data aligns with grant requirements.
  • Ensuring reports are delivered to the program and accounting leads and finance to complete the invoice package or directly to the Funder.
  • Coordinate with program staff regarding requests for program monitoring, including organizing data, responding to documentation requests and coordinating with program teams.
  • Support communication with funders by providing accurate data, documentation, and reporting materials as requested, in coordination with leadership.
  • Follow compliance with sponsor, federal, state, county, city laws and regulations.
  • Support ongoing training to program staff as it relates to grant administration, data entry standards, system uses, data quality related to Apricot and HMIS and organizational policies related to budgets and data collection.
  • Conduct routine data quality reviews and audits within Apricot, HMIS, and other SharePoint documents to identify and correct errors and/or inconsistencies.
  • Partner with Program and accounting team leads to ensure programmatic data entered into all internal and external databases is complete and correct.
  • Liaise with Program and accounting team leads and case managers as necessary to resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality.
  • Assist with the development of the Program Evaluation process including key project documents, policy and procedures, evaluations, satisfaction surveys, etc.
  • Identify areas for staff training and deliver effective training to ensure quality data collection and entry protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a organized electronic records and documentation in alignment with funder and organizational requirements.
  • Regularly review inactive files and prepare for archiving based and funder policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with Program Team Leads, staff, external partners, and funders.
  • Participate in all internal meetings and/or trainings related to data systems, grants, administration and/or compliance processes.
  • Attend all CSC meetings.
  • Maintain active engagement in promoting a safe work environment by following safety procedures and participating in required safety trainings relevant to this role.
  • Perform other duties as situation requires or as assigned by supervisor.
