Compliance Ops Builder

Alan
Hybrid

About The Position

This is a newly created role within Alan's Corporate team, which handles legal, privacy, governance, risk, compliance, and security as Alan scales. The primary goal is to make Alan's regulated development seamless and integrated with product development. The role offers close mentorship and structured support, with deep legal, privacy, and security expertise available within the team. There are opportunities to expand the scope across topics and countries as the individual grows. The Compliance Ops Builder will be responsible for creating compliance products, including processes and tooling, to ensure regulated work scales with Alan's growth. This involves making regulated work lighter for both the teams served and the experts involved, absorbing regulatory load, and establishing clear paths for requests and tooling for recurring work. The role requires rebuilding processes end-to-end, identifying and redesigning painful processes to be faster, and continuously improving them post-launch. It also involves proactively spotting bottlenecks, designing solutions that balance compliance and speed, and measuring the impact of shipped changes. In the first six months, the individual will ship a system for teams to get what they need from Corporate, own at least one process from problem to automated solution, and become a trusted builder for the Corporate team and its stakeholders.
