Under direction, develop, implement and manage Legal and Compliance projects within the scope of assigned responsibility, and provide subject matter expertise concerning application of applicable laws and regulations, corporate policies and procedures. The position collaborates cross-functionally to ensure applicable compliance is integrated into business operations, enabling efficient and legally compliant practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, IT, finance, compliance, supply chain, engineering, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 3 years experience in legal or compliance.
  • 1 year experience in Project Management or a combination of related experience.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as: Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplined matrix team environment.
  • Ability to effectively learn and operate within web-based applications and 3rd party productivity software, including, but not limited to: SAP, GTS, CAS, Corridor, Oracle, Salesforce, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, SmarTeam, Visual Compliance, CMP.Net , Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Projects, Adobe suite.
  • Working knowledge of relevant GDPR, CCPA, anti-bribery, sanctions and other applicable regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicant must be a US Citizen, or Green Card holder.
  • Applicant must be organized and possess critical thinking skill.
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and partner at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional decision making, and critical thinking skill required.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft manufacturing and product support ops, applicable FAA regs, personnel, and related business systems.
  • This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects within scope, cost and schedule using available project management tools and systems.
  • Support Legal Compliance organization with project management, issue resolution and solution development.
  • Develop and maintain current expertise in compliance laws and regulations.
  • Apply Lean tools to analyze existing compliance processes and identify improvement opportunities in both manual and automated systems.
  • Review corporate processes to ensure they are in compliance with laws and regulations, and support efforts to bring corporate process in line with legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Analyze hardware, software, and technology to ensure accurate capabilities.
  • Identify areas of compliance risk and develop risk assessments and compliance plans.
  • Conduct legal compliance training, and support development of new training materials and programs.
  • Participate in audits and factual investigations concerning applicable compliance matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
