About The Position

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our growing team in Malta. As a Compliance Officer within our team, you will support the organisation’s regulatory and compliance framework, with particular focus on the Swedish market and SGA requirements. You will help ensure ongoing adherence to licensing conditions, regulatory reporting obligations, AML and Responsible Gaming standards, while working closely with internal stakeholders, operational teams, and regulatory bodies where required. This role would suit someone with hands-on compliance experience in iGaming, ideally with exposure to Swedish regulation, who is comfortable working in a fast-moving, regulated environment where accuracy, structure, and sound judgement are essential.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a compliance, regulatory, AML, Responsible Gaming, or risk-related role within the iGaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of AML, Responsible Gaming, licensing requirements, regulatory reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Comfortable handling regulatory documentation, deadlines, reporting obligations, and cross-functional follow-ups.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies where required.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, with the judgement to know when to escalate, consult, and align before taking action.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with high regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on exposure to Swedish gaming regulation / SGA requirements is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with regulated European gaming markets; exposure to KSA, DGOJ, Ontario, or other regulated jurisdictions would be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and stay up to date with evolving regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on the Swedish market / SGA, and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Support the business in maintaining compliance with Swedish licensing requirements, including regulatory reporting, documentation, and operational follow-ups.
  • Draft, review, and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with licensing conditions, AML, Responsible Gaming, and regulatory standards.
  • Support licensing administration, including the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure required regulatory reports are submitted accurately and within set deadlines.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters, especially in relation to Swedish regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Operations, and Training teams to support initiatives related to Responsible Gaming, AML, complaints handling, and regulatory processes.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring findings are followed up and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage and respond to due diligence requests from third parties and partners.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, processes, and controls across the organisation.
