About The Position

The Compliance Monitor performs routine monitoring work and uses statistical sampling, auditing, and observation of work to ensure consistent compliance with policies and procedures in an effort to reduce the risk of fraud. Conducts monitoring and makes recommendations for improvement and maintains documentation on program reviews regarding suspected fraud. Compiles required monitoring documents. Provides technical assistance on workforce services programs and discusses minor findings with Child Care providers. Maintains knowledge on current and future programs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of workforce development, economic development, business intelligence and trends, and project management
  • Knowledge of effective management techniques and practices to include planning, strategy development and implementation, assessment of outcomes and accountability
  • Knowledge with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Knowledgeable with the Integrated Service Principles
  • Knowledge of quality control, auditing, or performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, technology, and computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, organizational skill, and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and data and provide relevant feedback for action
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • (1-2) Years of relevant experience required
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance with good driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
