About The Position
Sycamore Meadows is now hiring a Compliance Manager. This position will be handling all of the HUD certs and recerts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of HUD Project-Based Section 8/PBRA compliance experience
- Strong working knowledge of: HUD Handbook 4350.3
- Strong working knowledge of HUD income and asset calculation
- Strong working knowledge of Processing Annual, Interim, and Initial certifications/recertification
- Strong working knowledge of Tenant selection and eligibility requirements
- Strong working knowledge of EIV requirements and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of HUD Model Lease and required HUD forms
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Housing and nondiscrimination requirements
- Strong working knowledge of VAWA requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Reasonable accommodation requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Waiting-list and applicant-processing requirements
- Experience preparing a property for HUD Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) and responding to MOR findings
- Ability to interpret HUD regulations
- Strong knowledge of HUD rent, utility allowance, subsidy and tenant rent calculations
Responsibilities
- Handling all of the HUD certs and recerts
- Identify, document, correct and track compliance deficiencies
- Reviewing 50059s, certifications, EIV reports, income/asset documentation and supporting tenant-file documentation
