About The Position
The Compliance Line Officer (US Insurance) is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of surplus lines (E&S) tax filings. This role involves gathering and organizing required documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and utilizing systems such as Inscipher to process filings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in E&S tax filing, including document gathering and processing
- Hands-on experience using InsCipher for tax filing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple filings and meet strict deadlines
- Good organizational and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Applied EPIC
- Familiarity with surplus lines compliance across multiple states
- Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Gather, review, and organize documentation required for E&S tax filings
- Process and prepare E&S tax filing submissions accurately and within deadlines
- Ensure compliance with state-specific surplus lines tax requirements
- Maintain accurate records of filings and supporting documents
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to obtain necessary information
- Monitor filing timelines and follow up on pending requirements
- Work with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of services to clients and ensure that client expectations are met.
